At the beginning of summer, I made goals of fun things to do with Scott and the kids. One of those goals was to go to Remlinger Farm. Lily and I had had so much fun there three years ago. And lucky for me, Groupon offered a deal of buy one get one ticket free. SWEET!
We had so much fun on the rides. The employees must be instructed to leave it to the parents discretion on what rides their children can go on. I almost laughed when an employee told me Zeke could go on a Ferris Wheel without me, but there were no seat belts to hold him in. I let Zeke go on all but four of the rides. And Lily went on all the rides.
Zeke was really scared on the roller coaster. He held on to Scott for dear life. Lily was so brave, she even went on the spinning barrel ride (like the teacups at Disney Land) all by herself because Scott and I get sick on those kinds of rides.
Lily really wanted to go on these pedal bikes. Technically, she was shorter than the recommended height. And she tends to get bored pedaling a bike and just gives up. So we were a little nervous letting her try the course. Scott was such a great dad. He waited until the end of the day when no one else was in line. And then he rode behind Lily. He gave her encouraging words, and when necessary, got out and pushed her over the inclines.
She was so proud of herself for finishing the course! Way to go baby girl!
