We took the kids to the Zoo last week. We wanted to surprise the kids so I spelled Zoo out when I was talking to Scott instead of saying the word. Lily was so proud of herself, because she sounded it out and figured out the surprise on her own.
We have season passes, so we go quite a bit. We didn’t stress about seeing animals, instead, we let the kids have fun doing whatever they wanted to do.
Lily’s favorite thing was playing on rocks. She loved jumping from rock to rock, chasing Scott, and playing with another little girl.
Zeke on the other hand, loved the “Worm Crawl” (the toddler play area).
And then we discovered another play area at the zoo. How did we not find this earlier in the year?

We spelled out "zoo" when we went to the Nuremberg Zoo. I'm waiting for the day that Sophie figures it out. We spell out a lot of things these days :)
I miss the Woodland Park Zoo! Hogle Zoo here in Utah is very lame!
