I have a list of things I want to do before the summer ends. One of them is going to Peace Arch Park . . . so Monday, we drove up to see the park. It’s an interesting park, because it’s right on the border of America and Canada.
The park is smaller than I expected it to be. There was a small playground for Lily to play on, but she loved it!
Scott decided to try and scare Lily as she went down the slide. She thought it was so funny!
A little boy had brought a bat & ball to the park, and was kind enough to let Lily play with it. (I had no idea my daughter liked baseball.) Scott & Lily had so much fun playing together.
Naturally, Scott decided that we needed to go out and buy a bat & ball for Lily. Sound familiar?
To end the day, we took Lily to the local pool. Lily overcame some of her fear of water and learned how to float on her back. She was so excited and proud of herself. She kept showing us how she could float. Sorry, no pictures. (What pregnant woman wants pictures taken of her in a swimsuit?)

That is amazing that Lily can float! That is fantastic.
I forgot to mention that Lily had a life jacket on. So it isn't as impressive that she floats on her back as it could be, but it's still a big step for her.
Lily got so big already.
