Today, I felt like I was having an Alexander kind of terrible day . . .It started with me not paying attention when I was putting the very hot clothes iron away, and it fell and burned my arm. While Scott was helping me ice and bandage my arm, I had to call work and explain to the manager why I was going to be late. . . . that was a little embarrassing.
A few hours later, a customer was thanking me for helping him and put his hand directly on my burn (which was covered by the sleeve of my shirt so I couldn’t really be mad at him). I tried my best to feign a smile, but I really wanted to cry.
And then there were the grumpy customer service reps that I had to deal with on the phone all day. (I would like to blame the grumpiness on the full moon, because we were all having bad days and really didn’t want to talk to each other.)
I think I’ll go to bed now and try for a better day tomorrow.

Candice didn't really describe her burn much, but it was kind of bad. There were blisters and everything. She'll be alright though. I felt horrible.
I hope the day was better when you got up the next day.
Sorry to hear that. And being 9 months pregnant would make me be grumpy, period. Burns are so awful.
I've had some terrible-horrible-no-good-very-bad days lately too, and none of them involved 2nd degree burns, so this is a very bad day... even if you were in Australia.
Oh Candice! I'm so sorry that happend to you. I'll pray for your speedy recovery.
OUCH!
Oh no. Burns are just awful and so painful. I hope it gets better soon. I burned my finger a while ago, just a tiny spot from boiling soup, but enough to keep me awake all night due to pain. Yours sounds ways worse!!!
burn alone is a reason to be grumpy! I hate burns!! Hope it's feeling better.
