We also celebrated Scott’s birthday last month. The celebrations began on Friday when I worked my last full-day at Home Depot. (I’m still working part-time to help them out until Nov 1st, but I’m done working weekends and long days!)
We went up to Bellingham to spend time with some of our friends. Lily loves visiting Cora and Eva! Zeke just tags along. Sometimes he plays with the girls, sometimes he does his own thing. Scott and I each managed to beat Mike and Tiffany at Settlers. (Huge accomplishment there. They are tough competition.)
And as if we didn’t have enough fun, we also celebrated Scott’s birthday with my family.
He is definitely loved!
Side note: Lily had a little meltdown when she found out we weren’t going to Chuck-E-Cheese for his birthday. She somehow had it in her head that that was what we were going to do. It wasn’t a very pretty realization for her. (Luckily, her cousin, William had his birthday at Chuck-E-Cheese two weeks later, so I got off the hook for that one.)
