Scott’s boss was so nice. He insisted on Scott leaving work early enough to see Lily off to school (she has afternoon Kindergarten). Lily was excited to finally ride a school bus. Ironically, that’s the part I was most nervous about. I had to trust someone else to get my daughter to and from school safely. But I put on a brave front and encouraging face.
Here’s the excited Kindergartner, who wants to be a Princess Ballerina when she grows up. (Three months ago, she wanted to be a teacher.)
And here we are waiting for the bus:
And Lily was getting tired of me taking so many pictures, so she started making her silly “beaver face.”
She gets to ride the small bus to school with the other kindergartners, but then rides the big bus home with all the other kids.
I asked her how she liked her teacher, Mr. Erickson. She loves him, because “he’s silly.”
