I had to laugh when I came home from work on Memorial Day and was greeted by Lily running up to my car wearing this!
We had a nice BBQ, with way too much food. (We originally were going to have Scott’s brother & his family over, but those plans fell through.) We had enough food to feed at least 10 people. The three of us barely made a dent in it. I have to show off the lemon-raspberry cake I made from scratch. Doesn’t it look so delicious?

I got the cake recipe from Rachel Ray's magazine. I tried to make my cake look like hers as much as possible.
Lily is the cutest little thing I've ever seen. She would fit right in in Berkeley. For some weird reason all the bikers wears their bike helmets *all day* - in the grocery store, in the bank, in class, etc. It's ridiculous.
I'm pretty sure your cake looks even better than Rachel Ray's. That is spectacular. It's making me hungry!
you should publish the recipe one day. And Ann, about your comment - wearing a helmet for a while totally screws up the hair - especially with your CA weather - I guess those dudes are just too ashamed to take their helmets off ;-))))
