The tree is decorated (no breakable ornaments this year, because of a little boy who thinks they are “balls”) . . .
The stockings are hung . . .
The nativities are on display . . .
Tonight we took the kids to see Snowflake Lane. We’ve never been, but have heard great things about it. The kids had a blast. (To be honest, it’s worth it if you’re in the area, but it’s not worth driving for hours to attend.) One of the soldiers handed out suckers to all the kids. There was also a fairy, Rudolph, a mouse, and Frosty the Snowman mingling with the crowd.
The fairy was so kind. She was able to get our shy little Lily to answer every question she asked her. That’s amazing!
Everyone was so excited when the drummers came out. One of the soldiers even let Lily play her tambourine. Lily was very focused on playing it correctly, which cracked me up.
But everyone was more excited when it started “snowing.”
On the way home, we looked at Christmas lights. Zeke loved it! Lily, the poor thing, was so exhausted that she fell asleep in the car before we saw any lights. We’ll have to go look at lights again!
