After we left Mike & Noel’s house, we went camping. We loved using our tent for the first time. (I’m grateful I married an Eagle Scout because I didn’t want to worry about how to make a campfire.)
Lily loved being outside all the time: rocks and sticks to play with all the time!
She also loved sitting in her princess camping chair (she’d been talking about it for a month).
And then we went for a hike. I love these pictures:

Such fun! We've yet to go camping with kids. I don't know if I'm dreading it or looking forward to it.
How did Lily like sleeping in a tent? Did you guys get enough sleep? Sounds like a very special thing to do, I am sure Lily will remember some of it when she grows old!
I especially love that last picture! so adorable.
You are so brave to go camping with a newborn! How did it go? I remember camping with Curtis and Carolyn when Audrey was only 1 year old. She screamed all night long and in the morning they packed up and went home two nights before everyone else!
Zeke only woke up once each night. It helps that he sleeps that well at home, too, and that we had him in between us on our air mattress.
That looks like fun! I like your tent
