Spring Break

We decided to take advantage of Scott’s time off of school by doing a little road trip to Eastern Washington.  Our first stop was in Walla Walla to see Michael, Noel, Alexis, and Logan (Scott’s brother & his family). 

Lily has recently become obsessed with trains, trucks, cars and buses.  Logan was happy to show Lily all of his toys, and he was so good about sharing his toys with Lily, too.

Our next stop was to Othello to visit my grandma.  Lily hasn’t seen Grandma in over a year, so I was a little worried Lily would be shy and standoffish with her.  I spent two weeks telling her we were going to see “Papa’s Mommy.”  (Papa is my dad.) 

Lily quickly warmed up to Grandma.  She had a lot of fun playing with her.  Grandma pushed Lily & Scott on the swing (the swing was too low for Scott to swing by himself).  Lily also played “Monkeys in a Barrel” with Grandma, which consisted of Lily throwing the Monkeys at Grandma while Grandma sat on the couch.  Lily also loved playing Grandma’s organ.
