Oh how I love my Scotty!

Scott has decided to sell the treadmill that neither of us use, so he placed an ad on craigslist.  He felt compelled to explain why we were selling it.  This is what he said (emphasis added):

“I bought this treadmill from Sears for $600. It is in “like new” condition because I broke my ankle only months after buying it and can no longer run on it due to lingering pains in my ankle that have made running impossible for me now. I have kept it in hopes that my ankle would get better, but it just never has. And since my wife doesn’t like to exercise (she’ll kill me for saying that), I’ve decided to put it up for sale. It is really a steal of an offer considering its quality, brand name, and lack of use.”

And no, I don’t like to exercise indoors.  I find it VERY, VERY, VERY boring.  I would rather walk or bike on a trail.  How can anyone be entertained looking at a wall for 30 minute as they run in place?  I’ve even tried watching TV and movies . . . it’s still boring.

Thanks Scott for the public humiliation!

lol. That's too funny. The good thing is that you're thin. It might be a different story if he said that and you were a larger person. but you dont have to worry about that. :)

Husbands can say things without thinking. Of course wives never do that!

Candice, I just wanted to say a totally really late Happy Birthday. I got your well wishes and felt bad to have missed yours. Happy Jan 6th on April 6th. Love ya! PS Lily is growing up so cute and looks just like you in that chef's hat.

Husbands are great aren't they...they keep us honest! Gregg commented to me the other night about how I didn't gain as much pregnancy weight as he expected me too. Was that suppose to be a complement??!

This sounds weird, but the only way I can stand exercising indoors is to listen to a book on CD. Lately though, I just don't exercise at all. :)

Oh well, why worry. You look awesome and really don't need to work out for that reason - and btw, carrying around a 30lbs toddler,... is actually quite a good work out, isn't it?
