History buffs will try and tell you that The Great Compromise took place in Philadelphia in 1787. They will also tell you that it is the reason our government is structured how it is. I disagree!
The great compromise took place in my house tonight, and any fashion minded person will agree with me. You see, my very stubborn daughter, (I know, the apple doesn't fall far from this tree) happened upon her favorite shirt when we were supposed to be putting on pajamas and getting ready for bed. I refuse to let her sleep in day clothes! After she threw her 20th or so hissy fit of the day, I decided I would let her think she had her way. (The pictures below show the result of our compromise. She was so happy to pose for these pictures. She loves her Elmo shirt! Thankfully, she reluctantly let me take the shirt off her a half hour later when it was time to crawl into bed.)
I have to say, I love how she's getting a little belly! It's absolutely adorable. She loves to stick it out and have me blow on it. (She's also obsessed with showing off her belly button. She's constantly lifting up her dress at church to see it!)

lol. She's totally posing in the second picture! Love it! and I love the belly too! - if only people would think my belly was cute! :)
The fun begins! And, the only reason I'm "in the know" is because I was asked to be over the ward play group. Thankfully fun and often free activities repeat. You can use the internet to search your city or go to the city website to find ideas. I don't post about bathroom cleanings, laundry, and the rest of the boring things we do at home because who wants to hear about that?
She is so adorable. Does she really love Elmo? Dacian always asks about you guys and when you might come visit next. We'll see you at the wedding though. I really hope I don't get to give birth in Canada. :)
I am happy you found my blog and I am excited to find yours! Blogworld is great!
Love the Elmo shirt. She is so cute. I know all about the determined little people. Kara has gone to bed with a leotard over jammies.
So cute! Reese loves Elmo too!! I can't believe how long Lily's hair is getting, so cute!!
I love that she has an opinion about her clothes. Brooklynn still doesn't have much of one. Of course that keeps us from having the "Can't I wear this shirt for the 5th day in a row" arguements.
This picture makes me laugh out loud. She looks so proud of herself. Hilarious!
Whenever I read your blogs about Lily they start to make me think of what is coming up for me :-)
