I thought this was cute! It looks kind of like a Yin Yang of cats :)

August is the month of weddings! Last weekend, I went to my friend, Andrea's wedding in Boise. It was nice to spend a weekend with her, and my old roommate, Heather. Yesterday, I went to Scott's cousin, Katie's wedding. (I didn't get any decent pictures at Katie's wedding, though.)

OUR HOTEL ROOM

  Posted by Picasa

The hotel only had one non-smoking room left, so they gave us a suite for a standard room price. This was our tub with jets. It was so nice!
MONTEZUMA'S CASTLE

On our way up to Mesa Verde, we decided to stop at anything we saw that interested us. It was a very relaxing drive, and this "castle" was fun to see.
FOUR CORNERS

Scott wanted me to see how it's possible to be in four places at once. We arrived right before closing, so all the souvenior stands were closed. I love Scott's running start pose!
MESA VERDE

It was so interesting to see how people used to live in houses on mountain sides. It was fun to explore the different houses, and read about their daily lives.

This was my favorite of the mountainside houses. It is called "Citadel Pueblo." It's quite a hike to get in there, but very worth it.
THE GRAND CANYON

This was my first time seeing the grand canyon. No matter how many pictures you see, you're never prepared for the depth of it!
WUPATKI NATIONAL PARK

Scott and I heard about this national park by looking in the phone book. It was so much fun! Unlike the other parks, this one wasn't crowded at all. (Maybe that's because it was 108 degrees outside!) We were able to walk through the different rooms. Their doors were tiny!

This site had the most information on it. Unfortunately, I was roasting in the sun!
GRANDMA S

Even though we traveled around Arizona a lot, our main purpose was to see Grandma S. She is the sweetest lady! We had to be careful to not wear her out. We enjoyed visiting with her so much!

Scott & I went over to his cousin Sarah's house for the 4th of July. (Her husband Jim is on the right). Sarah and Jim are quite the social couple. They had several families over for a BBQ. It was fun! Posted by Picasa

Posted by Picasa Maddy, her parents, and Dacian came to the BBQ. I volunteered to hold Dacian. This is my kind of babysitting! All I had to do was walk around.

Happy Graduation Reed!
(He really didn't want these pictures taken. He was tired of the picture thing. But I insisted.) Posted by Picasa

Now that Erin's old enough to officially drink, Brett gave her some of the good stuff: Cherry Coke. Posted by Picasa

Mickayla is learning to scoot across the floor like Will. I don't know how Will feels about this, though. ;) Posted by Picasa

To celebrate being married 3 months, Scott took me to Les Miserable. It was wonderful! We took the day off of work, and went out to dinner after the show! Posted by Picasa

Keith . . . and anyone else who checks our blog twice daily . . . I would like you to know that I walked five feet across the room to download the pictures, but it didn't work. In fact, Scott's computer froze twice while attempting to download all the pictures off my camera. I will try again. I mean, naturally, everyone wants to know what's been happening in my life this last month. I just don't want you to think I'm a HUGE slacker.
