Mothers’ Day Tea

Lily invited me to attend her preschool’s Mothers’ Day Tea. It was so cute! Lily got to bring me to my seat, bring refreshments to the table for us, and then “sing” with her class.

Lily loves to sing. When we first moved in with my parents, Lily would sing verse after verse of songs. But lately, Lily has decided she is too shy to sing in front of others. So while her classmates sang, Lily hid her face with her hands. At one point, she lifted up her shirt to cover her face. It was adorable, and so Lily! Her class sang several different songs. They even dressed up like little cowboys and cowgirls!

That night, as Lily and I snuggled and read a book before bed, she told me that she loved spending time with me. So sweet! I love spending time with her, too.
