Be ye warned. Pirates be yonder mateys!

So this weekend was LDS General Conference in which the general authorities of the church address the people. During Elder Boyd K. Packer’s talk Lily noticed that boyd_k_packer_MD copyhe pronounced the word “our” a little differently than she’s used to. It came out as “are” each time he pronounced the word.

Lily noticed that it was a bit peculiar and exclaimed, “He says Arrrrr. He must be a pirate!”

We all busted up laughing.

Later on, I had the devious idea to post this and doctor his picture a little with Photoshop. Hope it doesn’t come as offensive to anyone.

Yeah, "or" doesn't exist in "fork", "horse" or even "Mormon" in Utah, it's "fark", "harse" and "Marmon". "pin" and "pen" are also homophones in Utah.
