Everyday, Lily is becoming more and more like her dad. Not only is she looking more like him than me, but she's also starting to act like him. Check out their baby pictures below:
For instance, they both love to eat bananas. They both eat 1-2 bananas a day, which means I'm always buying bananas. (It also means Lily cries if Scott eats the last banana without sharing any of it with her.) They are my little monkeys!
Lily also loves "The Teddy Bears' Picnic." For those of you who didn't grow up with Scott, let me fill you in on this. Scott loved the song "The Teddy Bears' Picnic" when he was little. He sang it all the time. His parents found an illustrated book of "The Teddy Bears' Picnic" and gave it to him for Christmas two years ago. Well, Lily has adopted that book as her favorite book. She is quite content sitting in my lap, while I read the book over and over and over again. Sometimes I try to put the book away, because I'm sick of reading it. Lily crawls down from my lap, grabs the book, hands it back to me, and motions to be picked up again. If I read it too slowly, she helps me turn the pages.

Adorable! By the way, Brooklynn and I are in the midst of making Banana Waffles right now. We wish all you banana lovers could come join us. They're going to be yummy.
I love the Teddy Bear Picnic book. That's so cute that Lily is so much like her Daddy! Good thing she's got a great dad to look up to.
The similarity of Scott and Lily is stunning!!! She is such a big girl already.
Maybe my girls belong in the Sanders family, cause they're Banana addicts and they're in LOVE with Teddy Bears Picnic! They ALWAYS ask me to sing or play that song. Now I've got to find that book!
