As many of you know, we took a trip up to B-ham a few weeks ago. We visited WWU campus. The campus has a lot of character, that is, all the buildings have character except the business building. The business building looks like a concrete structure -- very boring!
Here's a picture of Scott holding Lily infront of the Administration Building. (They are the vertical speck on the huge staircase!) You can't really tell from this picture, but the Admin Building reminds us of Count Dracula's castle.

We drove around the entire city of B-ham to look at apartment complexes. Each neighborhood was very unique. Some attracted the liberal student body, others attracted poorer members of society, and some looked like nice family neighborhoods. While driving around, we found this cute little park. We decided to get out and let Lily play a little. She loved the slide! It's a nice family park (toys for little kids, and toys for daring teenagers). Scott liked the basketball court.
When we walked to the far side of the park, we found a small path that led to a nice looking townhouse complex. After talking to the property manager, and making a second trip up to B-ham to view the interior of the apartment, we signed the lease. We now have a home to move into at the end of August! (I'm purposely not posting pictures of the interior. The current tenant had WAY TOO MUCH stuff crammed into the place. You would all feel sorry for me if you saw those pictures. I'll post pictures once we move in and the place looks cute.)

Okay, well it looks like I'm not the only one you didn't tell that you were moving. But I'm your sister! :) I'm glad you found a place you like. Hope Scott loves biz school! (I assume that's why you're moving there...) He'll be a super star.

I knew because Mom mentioned it as if I should have already known when she was out here for Brent's graduation. I swear I told Ann.
This townhome looks really nice. I would LOVE to live in a townhome, because you don't have to worry so much about other people's noise bothering you or your noise bothering others.

You're moving?? Bellingham isn't really that far from Vancouver. Now we have no excuses - we should get together! Sarah
