Behold, the giant rubber chicken! This is the oh-so-famous monument of Bothell. Between this and the tiny Safeway and Rite-Aid where everbody knows your name, you can get an idea of the small-town slow-moving city that we live in.

Lisa is enjoying the great Utopia of Bothell with us. We later attempted, but failed miserably, to look for a geocache located on our friendly riverfront trail.

Um, Can. Who do you think you're kidding here? I've been to all parts of Bothell and I've never come across this giant chicken. And I'm pretty sure it's hard to miss. Are you sure you didn't move to Kentucky without noticing?
hahaha, it's right off of Bothell-Everett Highway. It's right in front of the Country Village, and believe me, it is hard to miss! (even at night - it's eye is made from a bike reflector, which makes it look really evil). Come visit me and I'll show it to you. :)
By the way, with the name Sanders, I'll try and avoid Kentucky. I'm already sick of all the jokes I hear about KFC and Colonel Sanders.
I knew about the Fremont Troll but not the Bothell Chicken. That's funny,I've never made the Sanders KFC connection. It always makes me think of Winnie the Pooh who lives under the name of Sanders.
I prefer the Winnie the Pooh connection.
Well I haven't seen the Chicken either. I guess it is like the Lincoln toe truck. I miss that in Seattle.
