The Ring

Lily always likes looking at my engagement/wedding ring. Last week, she was trying my rings on, and asked if she could have them (keep them). I told her when I die she can have them.

A few days later, I was brushing Lily’s hair when she said, “Mommy, I don’t want your rings.” Hmmm . . . “Why not?”  She answered, “I don’t want you to die.”

What a sweet little girl!
