95% of people that read this blog know that I’m a planner (the other 5% have never met me). Some even know that I make lists . . . lots of lists. In fact, I feel lost without my lists. Scott always teases me about all my lists (yes, there’s always multiple lists).
One thing being married to Scott is teaching me is how to be more spontaneous. Take yesterday for example . . . I had crossed off a lot of the to do’s on my list and had a plan of how to finish the rest of my list by night’s end: (1) make dinner during Lily’s nap so that I could play outside with her while dinner baked, (2) fold all 6 loads of laundry while Lily watched Beauty and the Beast after dinner, (3) clean the upstairs bathroom while Lily bathes, (4) do the dishes after Lily’s in bed. It was a perfect plan, all be it a boring plan . . . until Scott called on his way home from school.
Scott suggested we go to Chuck E. Cheese for pizza and games. (The boring planner and list maker in me wanted to say “No.”) When I asked Lily if she wanted to go, her face just lit up! How could I be the grim reaper? So I relented (and I’m glad I did).
My two happy pizza eaters:
Lily was so excited to see Chuck E. that she even forgot to be shy! She gave him a high five, and stood by him for a picture. Way to go Lily! (This was the highlight of the visit for Lily.)

Lily looks like Erin when she was this age in these pictures. Such a cutie!
Good for you! I like being organized too, but being spontaneous is WAY more fun!
Desiree always says that she met Chuck E Cheese and that "he was REAL!" -lol....makes me laugh everytime!
I am so like you with the lists. I am currently learning how to be content when things aren't done!
This picture of Lily with the Chuck E Cheese is the cutest think I've ever seen. How fun! I'm glad you guys had a fun night out.
I too love lists. Sometimes when I'm trying to make sense of a spontaneous event, I'll write it on my list afterward just so I can cross it out. :)
What a fun day!
