"The Family Christmas Shin dig"

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without spending it with extended family. Scott's family (minus Chris & Ashley) had gathered in Seattle for an after Christmas celebration. Once the snow melted and roads were safe to travel again, we drove down to Seattle to spend time with them. We played games, opened gifts, and ate yummy food. (We love Maddy's soup!) I must say I was relieved we drew names this year for gifts, so there weren't as many presents to open. As it was, it took awhile to open all the gifts.

We played a rousing game of "Cash & Guns." The point of the game is to intimidate your opponents with your gun, so they drop out of the money pool. Scott's mom had no problem shooting her sons and husband for extra loot.

The grandkids had moments of blissful play and moments of difficulty as they struggled to share toys and play nice. (That's what happens when three kids all about 2 years old gather together.)

I can't help but share some of my favorite Lily photos. Her expressions are priceless! She's definately a character.

I am glad your Sanders get together was so fun. Of course Lily is adorable even with her goofy face expression.
