Bowling across the border
We went up to Canada to visit Scott's Mom at the beginning of April. Mike, Noel, Alexis & Logan were visiting her, too, so we all went to the local bowling alley. I was in for a surprize. In Canada, they do 5 pin bowling or lawn bowling. The balls are small and have no holes for your fingers. Scoring is a little different, but I didn't fare too badly: 78.

Last Friday, we went bowling with Scott's company. The district Manager asked me if I'm good at bowling, I told him I would make everyone look good. Unfortunately, that was very true! I did so poorly, that people started cheering if I hit a single pin. My high for the evening was 51. (Scott did a lot better than me.)

I guess you take after your Mom.
Yay 5 pin bowling! I miss that! Dan makes fun of me cause I always ask to go 10 pin bowling....and to him there's no other kind....it's a Canadian-US thing...the differences you have to get used to when you're married to a "foreigner" I guess.
I'm glad I found your blog! Thanks for the sweet comments and the congrats in the email. Sorry I never wrote back. I suck!
I love Blogs though. Good way to keep in touch, without ever talking. LOL! Can't believe Lily's 1! See ya!
Wii bowling makes all of us feel bad about our scores when we go real bowling. I'd like to try 5 pin bowling, I think I'd do better.
